Animal sex abuse is on the rise in Germany
Posted by Joanna in Animal Rights, Animals, 6 Feb 2012
The practice of having sex with animals is becoming an epidemic in Germany.
“There are even animal brothels. The abuse seems to be increasing rapidly and the internet offers an additional distribution platform”, said Madeleine Martin, the animal protection official for Hessian state government.
The law needs to be changed to make it possible to prosecute and punish these animal abusers.
“It is punishable to distribute animal pornography, but the act itself is not”, Madeleine Martin told the ‘Frankfurter Rundschau’.
Sex with animals was illegal until 1969 and according to animal rights activists, this kind of animal abuse is no longer single cases, they are talking about a new fashion and lifestyle.
There is already an obscene amount of animal abuse and cruel treatment in the world, without this happening.

After 50 Years, Zimbabwe’s Starvation Island is Living Up to its Name
In northern Zimbabwe, on their border with Zambia, you’ll find Lake Kariba: the largest artificial lake and reservoir in the world. On this lake, you’ll find 102 islands, including one with the rather unsettling name of Starvation Island. For the first time in 50 years, the island is living up to its name. According to conservationists, the waters of Lake Kariba are on the rise and have submerged much of the grazing land found on Starvation Island. The island was named...
Stop the cruel trade in rhino horns!
The Asian market for traditional bogus medicine continues to grow, causing unprecedented losses in endangered species like the African White Rhino. Two poachers from Thailand were recently arrested for poaching upon their arrival in South Africa as part of a recent crackdown on poaching gangs. From Reuters Africa: More rhinos have been killed in South Africa in the past 10 months than in all of 2010, the WWF reported this week, citing figures from the South Africa National Parks. The figure stands at...
Environmental news from Portugal: Lost in the shadow of Copenhagen
Portugal is not a country you often find taking up headlines in major international news sources. But the small Iberian nation has recently been home to two major events focusing on the subject of the environment, especially sustainable development. From November 20th - 22nd Portugal's capital city of Lisbon hosted Planet Earth Lisbon 2009, or PEL2009, a conference celebrating the end of the International Year of Planet Earth. A project by the Earth Sciences for Society, the International Year of...
Committee on Climate Change: UK must invest in green tech
The UK’s independent advisory body established under the Climate Change Act has stated that Britain needs to invest more in low carbon technologies in order to meet its goal of cutting 1990 emissions levels by 80% by the year 2050. The Committee on Climate Change (CCC) was established with the purpose of reporting to the UK’s parliament regarding the country’s progress in cutting greenhouse gas emissions. The fear is that Britain will be left behind if it does not fund technological...
Eco-Miracle: Converting Desert Land into Lush Gardens
An ecological impossibility has finally become possible: the conversion of desert territory into a fertile garden area. Geoff Lawton, a researcher of the Permaculture Research institute, would be the miracle-worker this time. The given area of land was approximately 2 miles from the Dead Sea. Temperatures here would swell over 122 F (50 C) and farming conditions involved plastic strips along with massive amounts of fertilizer and synthetic chemicals. Lawton and his team had 10 acres of this salty, flat soil to...
Eco-Travel: Taking Your RV Off-Road and On Water
There have been a lot of new inventions for eco-friendly transportation coming out this year. Ideas have ranged from cars to boats and even airplanes; but what about the RV? This is a mobile home away from home, and one that is supposed to whisk you away to natural places, so it would make sense to create a greener version of this, right? Yeah, and industrial designer Weili Feng agrees with you. Introducing the Harmony Amphibious RV: equipped with hydrogen fuel...
Jatropha: the dark horse of biofuels enters the race
Jatropha curcas, a perennial and poisonous shrub grown mostly in Africa and Asia, may prove to be the dark horse among the promising new stars of the growing biofuel industry. The fuel is Jatropha oil, which is extracted by crushing the seeds of the plant’s fruit. The remaining husk can also be used as a biomass fertilizer or to power electricity plants. Since Jatropha has not been properly domesticated and is a new player on the international biofuel scene, not much...
I Spy With My Non-Existing Eye…
Last month, I was lucky enough to spend some time along the more remote places of Virginia Beach. On one walk along the beach in particular, I found a lot of strange things washed up on the shore: horseshoe crabs, empty mermaid purses, and one odd-looking shell that still had other life forms attached! It goes to show that the sea is full of a great many strange creatures. Another such strange creature recently made the scientific spotlight: the sea urchin....
Video: Climate change, conflict and the Arctic oil rush
The environmental and geopolitical ramifications of melting Arctic glaciers and the rush of different nations for the region’s mineral wealth is fraught with conflict and change. Melting ice in the Arctic spells trouble for some of Greenland’s traditional indigenous Inuit and for low-lying nations vulnerable to rising sea levels. A warming climate will also change shipping routes in the region, contributing further to the opening up of the region for economic exploitation. The Arctic is becoming the new battleground for the environment....

Wow, this is absurdly disgusting, having sex with the animals a new fashion and lifestyle? I would certainly remain conventional and outmoded if that will be the case. obviously a person who does such thing has a psychological problem….I will not accept that this is normal
