Help Greenpeace Take Down Koch Industries and Their Climate Denial Accomplices!
If you’ve never heard of them before, don’t feel bad—they intentionally try to stay out of the public eye, but that’s all about to change. According to Greenpeace, Koch Industries has been fueling anti-climate change campaigns with millions of dollars; especially when it comes to discrediting climate science. The report mentions nearly 25 million dollars funded towards “organizations of the ‘climate denial machine’” between 2005 and 2008, plus another 37.9 million directed towards lobbying oil and energy issues between 2006 and 2009.
Along with the report, Greenpeace also put out a list of 21 lawmakers and 35 organizations who received funds (both directly and indirectly) from Koch Industries, their affiliates, or foundations set up by the Koch family. The list includes the Heritage Foundation, Institute for Energy Research, Goldwater Institute, and Americans for Prosperity (which is campaigning to stop the EPA from regulating greenhouse gases). Greenpeace also adds:
“The combination of foundation-funded front-groups, big lobbying budgets, political action campaign donations and direct campaign contributions makes Koch Industries and the Koch brothers among the most formidable obstacles to advancing clean energy and climate policy in the US.”
Of course, Koch Industries denies all accusations, even though they have been known to fund a variety of anti-climate change campaigns—such as those that claim polar bears are not endangered because of climate change and others who keep pushing the whole “Climategate” scandal; not to mention the 21 politicians who also receive campaign funds from the company. Their director of communication, Melissa Cohlmia, even went as far to issue a statement to AFP, claiming that Koch Industries “have consistently found innovative and cost-effective ways to ensure sound environmental stewardship”. However, the statement was never even sent to or officially approved by Koch Industries anyway.

Tilo, Climate Change is not an election. If we do not deal with the real issues then we are ALL farked. Koch Industries have been fighting any sort of pollution control since they concocted Cooler Heads and all the other hundreds of fake front groups since the 1970s. They are the ones who created voodoo economics. They concocted the Heritage Foundtion, Cato Institute, and every other scam you can imagine. Trust me, if Koch were a liberal entity, you’d flip sides regardless of principle. Koch Industries are the REAL DOMESTIC ENEMY AND ALWAYS HAVE BEEN.
Koch is going down
Deniers should be hanging their head in shame.
Every piece of junk science (their false reports were all debunked) they’ve used to justify destructive behavior is funded by the petroleum industry.
This is one of those times I’d expect a couple of deniers to realize that big business isn’t looking out for anyone but big business.
Course, America is pretty dumb these days.
Only around 40% believe in theory of evolution.
Koch in combination with righty-media has control over a significant minority in this country.
Its really sad, and destructive to our future.
Here is the list of products I’ve been able to tie to koch industries at this point.

So the Greenpeace facists are at it again. Condemning people for the exercise of free speech. The global warming alarmists have spent more that 50 billion trying to convince the world that we are about to burn up. But they cannot accept a single penny being spent to present the other side. If their campaign was not a lie, they could afford to let both sides have their say and people could make up their own minds. But since their campaign is a lie, the only hope of spreading it is to use a propaganda approach. Many many years ago I used to respect Greenpeace. Now I realize that they are nothing more than a group of political crackpots who spend all of their time feeding their overblown egos with delusions about saving the world.

LOL What a joke. Even if it’s true, 48 million compared to the billions the alarmists crowd get in the way of government grants and funding from alternative energy companies. Way to present one side of the store.
I’m sure the info on this link won’t bother you at all:
