Mark Boyle, aka No Money Man, has been living out of an old donated caravan on an organic farm outside of Bristol, England for over a year and a half. He eats well, keeps fit, grows vegetables and forages for necessities. He also keeps up a blog and occasionally writes for the Guardian. He’s even written a book while he’s at it. Oh, and he’s lived without money the entire time. Back in November we featured a piece on a ‘freeconomist’ conducting an idealistic experiment in living off the grid in a rural part of western England. 80′s pop lyric references aside, Mark Boyle, aka No Money Man has completed a year without using money. Fourteen months from starting his experiment and in the middle of a snowy cold snap, he’s still wearing shorts, brushing his teeth with cuttlefish bones and for the time being plans on continuing his low-impact lifestyle.
