Depends on whom you ask Most sources seem to say that it’s either the tropical eco-paradise of Costa Rica or Germany, the environmentally conscious, European economic powerhouse. In a sassy, if obvious, attempt to debunk popular conceptions about prominent issues, Newsweek magazine’s “The Smart List” feature, with the subheading “What do you know?” is a dose of brash journalism for the American public. Some articles are blog-like and some of those are barely bigger than Twitter tweets, while one or two are even less worth reading.
