After a month of dealing with the issue, their methods are still being attacked by environmental groups and the media. The most recent issue concerns their latest siphoning method of cleaning up the spill, which dropped from 92,400 gallons per day to 57,120 gallons in the last 24 hours. Apparently, the issue is also enough to upset the average US citizen to the point of near-bloodshed. A Pennsylvania man threatened his girlfriend with a meat cleaver over an argument about the BP oil spill. There’s even been international action taken on the matter.
