In this day and age there never seems to be enough time to get everything done. You have your job, housework, family to take care of, bills to pay, friends to visit, projects to work on, appointments to go to, errands to run, and who knows how many other tasks to complete. Plus, somewhere in all of that you have to figure out how to make your activities as green or environmentally friendly as possible.

Some days it all seems like too much to handle. Even with things precisely scheduled, it’s still possible to fall behind and you’re already stretched thin as is, how can you handle it?

Well, I can’t really tell you how to manage your time, but I can show you a couple of awesome new inventions that will help—and they’re already on the market (though one fetches a pretty hefty price). What I am talking about are watches, or rather, eco-friendly watches.

First up, we have the Sol Invictus. Design by Swiss watchmaker Cabestan, it’s stylish, classy, and solar powered. It uses silicium crystals as high efficiency solar cells that are perfect for tiny spaces and low solar powered lighting. Lithium ion batteries are also included in the watch and can be recharged, plus they help store the solar energy and power up the timepiece. Each Sol Invictus is made according to the customer’s specifications, but it costs a whopping price of $560,000 USD (€ 415,259).

Although a solar powered watch is an awesome invention, the price is quite out of range for most people. Fortunately, there is another eco-friendly watch that is perfect for anyone. I give you the Sprout Watch. This nifty timepiece comes in 12 colors, has a 100% recyclable (biodegradable) corn resin case and buckle, a dial made of bamboo, mineral crystal lens, a certified organic cotton strap, and a mercury-free battery. Also, the packaging is made from 80% post consumer material and can be transformed into a miniature lawn (grass seeds included). The best part is the Sprout Watch only costs $27 USD (€20).

Both watches are definitely awesome choices, regardless of what your price range is. Either way, it’ll at least solve the eco-friendly time issue. As for the rest of your (possibly) hectic schedule, you’re on your own from here.
