Top 10 Environmental Charities Supported by Celebrities
Every one of us (or at least a lot of us) has our ways of living green or helping the environment. We recycle, buy organic products, do volunteer work or donate money to environmental charities and organizations. Believe it or not, there are quite a few celebrities out there that do the same. Cate Blanchett recently narrated a video for IspeakEarth.com. Daryl Hannah did volunteer work aboard the Steve Irwin vessel with the Sea Shepherd crew. And I think we all know of Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation by now. If you are wondering what some of the top, celebrity-supported environmental charities are, look no further—the listing is below, from least to greatest (with some ties in the mix):

What? A charity focused on livestock beats Greenpeace? Yes, it would seem so—and with 41 known supporters. Heifer International promotes sustainability, environmental protection, peace and more. How? Well, they provide livestock and training to those who are in need (suffering from hunger and poverty); thus offering families a food source and the ability to become self-reliant, rather than short-term relief. Supporters of Heifer International include: Bill Clinton, Kirsten Dunst and Robin Williams.
