Global Warming is a Hoax!?
Climate Change and all that comes with it is a hoax, a sham, and a complete fraud. Well, at least that’s what all the skeptics and nay-sayers want you to believe.
If you haven’t heard the news that’s been spreading like wildfire: hackers have infiltrated the e-mail system of the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU). This research unit has been reputed to be one of the leading groups in the study of Global Warming, and the hacking incident has ignited big problems and massive debates.
A selected number of personal and work-related e-mails were taken from the site and posted online. What these e-mails seem to show are possible signs that some of the CRU’s research and data have been altered or changed to push a Global Warming issue where there may not be one at all. Skeptics like Rush Limbaugh have already jumped on the anti-global warming bandwagon, claiming that these e-mails are proof of one giant lie.
Others have taken a more reasonable approach to this strange series of events and are viewing the issue from more than one side. LittleGreenFootballs.com is one of the more sensible minded, with interesting comments like:
“There’s no evidence of a conspiracy to commit massive fraud. There are no admissions of faking data. The worst thing they’ve dug up out of thousands of emails is this one referring to a “trick” used to adjust warming data…”
Another possibility is how do we know the e-mails weren’t changed prior to being posted online? Yes, the CRU openly admitted to being hacked. However, how do we know the hackers did not rewrite, rearrange or omit parts of the e-mails in order to present them in favor of the skeptics? Being only a couple weeks away from a massive Climate Change event, it seems a rather strange coincidence that this would happen now.
And let’s take a look at a few other things. East Anglia’s CRU may be a leading research center, but there are many others out there who have also reported similar data and findings. Does the hacked e-mail make all the studies and reports conducted by the IUCN, EPA or NOAA obsolete? Does it mean that environmental groups like Greenpeace, WWF or the Galapagos Conservancy no longer have a purpose? What of all the special research and engineering businesses like Toyota or Samsung have done?
I suppose a hacked set of e-mails would, of course, make all that other stuff absolute nonsense, too. Let’s not forget about the glaring evidence we can see and research for ourselves every day. Animals are disappearing at an alarming rate. Deforestation has become a big issue. Have you ever stopped to observe the weather patterns or animal behavior in your own areas? How many of you are having unseasonably warmer fall or winter weather in recent years? How many of you have noticed that animals don’t migrate quite the same or that the plants aren’t quite changing with the seasons as well as they used to?
If you want to check out these alleged e-mails and decide for yourself, you can do so here. This may be one set of e-mails that ends up as a black mark for those fighting against Global Warming, but there is way too much physical evidence right outside your front door that proves it is a real thing. Denying and running away from a problem does not make it go away. The text in e-mail does not change that Greenland is melting, thousands of species are near the brink of extinction or that humans create more pollution and environmental destruction on this planet than any other species combined.
