To restore consumer’s confidence, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has launched a webpage containing product information on registered insect repellants and their effectiveness. It aims to help consumers select the right product to suit their needs in order to protect themselves better from ticks and mosquito-borne diseases.

It is important to wear appropriate clothing such as long-sleeved shirts and pants for better protection when going outdoors. You can also seek non-chemical means against insects by using nets or screening windows at home to serve as natural barriers.
